About the artist
Guli Silberstein is a London-based digital video artist working for over two decades, since graduating with a Master’s degree in Media Studies from The New School New York in 2001. An early adopter (2020) of using AI to create video work, he also works with visual effects, and ‘glitch’ - datamoshing techniques. In his video work he explores hidden patterns in human existence and consciousness, bending reality by deforming the body and the texture of landscape. From abstract to figurative, he pushes digital technology to the edge, to create new striking audio-visual forms.
His extensive body of work has been showcased and won awards at hundreds of festivals and exhibitions around the world, such as the WRO Media Art Biennale in Poland, Transmediale Festival in Berlin, FILE in São Paulo, London Short Film Festival, The Royal Scottish Academy, Saatchi Gallery in London, and many others, and has been curated and available digitally and physically with collaborators such as Sedition Art, Luba Elliott's CVPR AI Art Gallery, Dead End AI Gallery Amsterdam, and Digitalism Art Fair, Saatchi Gallery London. His work has drawn a wide audience online, with roughly 250,000 followers and 150 million views across social platforms.

Payment How you pay. We do not take payment on this website. After we receive your order, we email you the final total and a payment link. You can pay through the link with PayPal or a debit or credit card. All prices are in pounds sterling (£).
When you pay. You pay only after we have confirmed your total, never when you send the form. We send your digital files, or ship your video box, once your payment has arrived. For a video box, the delivery cost is included in the total we email you.
Security. Payments are handled by PayPal or our card payment provider on their own secure pages. We never see or store your card details.
Refunds. If you cancel or return an order as set out under Cancellation and refunds, we refund to the payment method you used.
Shipping and delivery Digital files: delivery is free. A secure download link is sent to the email address you provide with your order.
Video boxes and screens: delivery is not included in the price. Shipping details and the delivery cost are confirmed by email after we receive your order form.
Cancellation and refunds
Your right to cancel. If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel an order for goods or digital content within 14 days, without giving a reason, subject to the exceptions set out below. This is your right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
Physical goods (for example, a 5-inch or 7-inch video box). The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day on which you, or a person you name, receive the goods. To cancel, tell us clearly by email to guli.silb@gmail.com. You may use the model cancellation form below, but you do not have to. You must send the goods back to us without undue delay, and in any event within 14 days of telling us that you wish to cancel. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. Please take reasonable care of the goods and return them complete, with all packaging. You are liable for any loss in value that results from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. We will refund the price you paid, together with the cost of standard delivery, within 14 days of receiving the goods back or of receiving evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier. We refund to the payment method you used, and we make no charge for doing so. If you chose a more expensive delivery method than our standard one, we do not refund the additional cost.
Digital files. The cancellation period is 14 days from the day the contract is made. At checkout we ask you to request immediate delivery and to acknowledge that you will lose your right to cancel once the digital files have been made available to you for download. If you give that consent and acknowledgement, you cannot cancel after delivery has begun. We confirm both in writing by email.
Bespoke and personalised orders. The right to cancel does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, which includes bespoke formats made to your requirements. For a bespoke video commission, where you ask us to begin work within the 14-day period and then cancel, you pay a proportionate amount for the work done up to the time you told us you wished to cancel. Once a commission has been fully performed with your prior express consent, and your acknowledgement that you will lose the right to cancel, the right to cancel ends.
Faulty or misdescribed items. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content and goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. If a file is corrupt or will not play, or if the video box arrives damaged or faulty, contact us promptly. We will repair or replace the item or, where that is not possible, refund you. For goods, you may also have a short-term right to reject within 30 days of delivery. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.
Business customers and public licences. The statutory right to cancel is a consumer right. If you buy for business purposes, or under a public licence, cancellation is governed by the terms of our written quote.

Who we are. The Vidiator is operated from London, United Kingdom, by Guli Silberstein, who is the controller of your personal data under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Contact: guli.silb@gmail.com.
What we collect. The details you give us in the order, inquiry and contact forms: your name, email address, delivery address (for physical items), your message or brief, and the details of what you order, including the licence you choose. If you tick the newsletter box or sign up for special updates, we also keep your name (if given) and email address to send news of new works, special editions and exhibitions. We do not ask for payment card details on this website.
Why we use it, and our legal basis. To reply to you and deal with your order or inquiry, and to deliver what you buy (performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request before a contract). To keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation). To handle complaints and protect our legal rights (legitimate interests). To send news of new works (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us).
How long we keep it. Order and accounting records for six years. Inquiries that do not lead to an order, for up to 12 months. Newsletter details until you unsubscribe.
Who receives it. We never sell your data. We use trusted providers to run the shop and they act on our instructions: a form-delivery service that passes your form to our email, our email provider, our payment providers (who receive what they need to take your payment), our website host, and, for physical items, a courier. Videos are shown through Vimeo, and fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so those companies receive your IP address and technical information when the page loads. We ask Vimeo not to track viewers. Some providers are located outside the UK. Where that is the case, the transfer is protected by an approved safeguard such as the UK adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum.
Cookies. We do not set our own cookies or use advertising or analytics trackers on this page.
Your rights. You may ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to our use of it, or to receive it in a portable format. You may withdraw consent at any time. Email guli.silb@gmail.com and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
Bespoke commissions
How a commission works. Send us a brief describing the idea, mood, length, format, deadline and budget. We reply within 24 hours with a written quote and schedule. Work begins once you accept the quote and pay the deposit stated in it. We deliver the finished piece in your chosen format, together with a signed certificate of authenticity.
What the quote covers. Each quote states the price, the deposit, the delivery date, the format, what is included (including any rounds of changes) and the licence that applies. A commission is not binding on either side until you have accepted the quote in writing.
Rights. Unless the quote says otherwise, the artist keeps the copyright in the work. You receive a licence for the use described in the quote.
